Authenticity
All items are carefully reviewed by KERN1 prior to sale. Authentication is carried out using internal processes informed by over ten years of experience in sourcing and selling pre-owned Chanel, with a focus on pieces from the 1980s and 1990s. KERN1 operates independently and is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by Chanel S.A.. Items have not been authenticated or verified by Chanel S.A.

Portrayal of items
All items are pre-owned. They are described and presented as accurately as possible through text and imagery. Signs of wear are inherent to previously owned items.

Pricing
All prices are listed in euro.

No VAT specified for previously owned items
In accordance with the Dutch margin scheme for second-hand goods, VAT is not specified on invoices.

Order cancellation
Cancellation requests made before shipment will be considered. For orders shipped outside the European Union, refunds are issued minus payment processing fees, up to a maximum of 3.5% of the total order amount.

Property
All items remain the property of KERN1 until full payment, including shipping and any applicable fees, has been received.

Local taxes
Orders within the European Union are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). No additional taxes or duties are due upon delivery.
Orders outside the European Union are shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) and may be subject to import taxes and duties. These are the responsibility of the recipient.

We reserve the right to amend product information, pricing and terms of purchase at any time without prior notice.

Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Information on the website may occasionally contain errors or omissions relating to product details, pricing or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to update or cancel orders where necessary, including after an order has been placed.

Force majeure
Events outside KERN1’s control release KERN1 from its obligations. This includes government actions, legislative changes, conflicts, natural disasters, strikes or supply disruptions.
