This checked boyfriend blazer is a design by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel's 1988 Fall Winter collection.
The patterned fabric combines beige, green, black, brown and blue, creating an overall neutral appearance. The jacket has a straight, relaxed cut with a longer silhouette.
It fastens at the front with tortoiseshell CC-logo buttons and features notched lapels, three front pockets and four smaller CC-logo buttons on each sleeve. The interior is fully lined in green silk with a CC print.
The longer cut and relaxed fit allow the jacket to be layered over other clothing, making it suitable as an outer layer during warmer seasons.
