A rare vintage sand-coloured tweed jacket designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel’s Spring/Summer 1993 collection. Worn by Kristen McMenamy on the runway with the now-iconic Chanel SS93 briefs, and later featured in a Peter Lindbergh editorial for Harper’s Bazaar, it is one of the most recognisable Chanel looks of the early 1990s.
The tweed is woven from white, black and sand-coloured yarns, creating a graphic interplay of lines softened by the natural, subdued tones. The collarless jacket has a classic tailored Chanel silhouette and falls slightly below the hip.
It features four patch pockets, tonal trim and striped CC-logo buttons. The interior is fully lined in CC-logo printed silk and finished with Chanel’s signature gilt chain along the hem, ensuring a precise drape around the body. A highly collectible piece from one of Karl Lagerfeld’s most iconic Chanel collections of the 1990s.

The piece is in very good vintage condition. Kept for over 33 years with utmost care. No defects. Extremely rare to find light colored Chanel suits from the 90s in such shape.
