25013 Jacket 36 / 38 EU Fall Winter 1994 Cream and black France |
From Chanel’s Fall Winter 1994 collection, this rare cream jacket by Karl Lagerfeld was shown on the runway on Helena Christensen and is the light-colored version of the better-known black design. The cream color gives the piece a softer look, while the scalloped trim makes the silhouette instantly recognizable.
The jacket is cut in a straight, hip-length shape with structured shoulders, a collarless neckline and four patch pockets. Cream scalloped trim follows the neckline, front opening, hem, cuffs and pocket edges. The sleeves are finished with CC-logo buttons, while a fine chain is sewn into the silk-lined hem to help the jacket drape beautifully around the body.
A matching skirt is available upon request. The skirt is made from the same cream fabric and repeats the scalloped trim along the hem. It closes with a concealed zip at the back.
A rare runway piece in exceptional condition and a beautiful example of Karl Lagerfeld’s interpretation of the classic Chanel jacket in the mid-1990s.
