25053 Suit 34 EU Spring Summer 1990 Cream France
|
One of Chanel's most sought-after cream tweed sets from the 90s. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Chanel Spring Summer 1990 Collection.
The jacket is cut slightly longer than hip length, and has subtle V-shaped details both at the neck, and the bottom. Crafted in cream tweed, finished with a braided trim. The design features two patch pockets at the chest. Gilt signature buttons appear at the center front, cuffs, and pockets.
As with traditional Chanel construction, the interior is lined in silk printed with the house’s interlocking CC motif and finished with the signature chain along the hem. The piece is now presented together with its original matching pencil skirt, forming a complete suit. The look appeared on the runway during the Spring Summer 1990 presentation and was worn by Naomi Campbell.

The set remains beautifully preserved overall. The exterior presents almost like new. The interior lining shows signs of wear consistent with age, including light discoloration, subtle stretching along the seams, and small holes at the underarms.
